Who's That Advocate?!

Shamaria Jordan, CEO Founder

Raised by a single mother, in Illinois, Shamaria gained a heart for young people. She had inspirations to become a social worker in order to help young people in situations they didn't choose to be in. After some time spent with God, she pursued her bachelor's in Children, Family & Youth studies. She went on to pursue her Master's in Education with a focus in Youth Development Leadership and Nonprofit Management.

She is passionate about our youth, but extremely passionate about the gaps that exist for black girls and has committed her work to closing those gaps to make sure black girls get every opportunity they deserve. She is our head creative and head mentor, committing her life to the next generation's success.
